By making a charitable gift through your estate, you ensure that Music Center will continue to transform lives long into the future.

A planned gift can help you achieve financial and estate goals while providing a secure future for loved ones – and accomplishing something very meaningful to you in your life. Benefits can include substantial tax savings, annual income for you and/or your spouse, making a much bigger gift than you thought possible, and a host of other benefits depending on your particular circumstances and philanthropic goals.

We are happy to discuss planned giving opportunities with you and also encourage you to seek professional legal and financial counsel. To discuss planned giving options, please contact Executive Director Michael Alstad at 206-526-8443 or michaelalstad@mcnw.org.

GIFTS FROM YOUR IRA

Are you 70 ½ years of age or older? Please consider taking advantage of an opportunity to reduce your taxable income while supporting Music Center of the Northwest with an IRA Charitable Rollover Gift.

The Qualified Charitable Distribution from an IRA allows donors 70 ½ years or older to make gifts directly to Music Center and not include the amount gifted as taxable income. An IRA Charitable Rollover Gift can satisfy some or all of your annual Required Minimum Distribution, and reducing your taxable income could provide a variety of tax savings opportunities.

Please speak to your advisers about how to make this part of your long-term charitable plans.

Music Center of the Northwest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Our Federal Tax ID number is 91-1450066.
