The Music Center Vocal Jazz Ensemble is the home for vocal jazz. The ensemble presents material from the American Songbook as well as works from contemporary composers and arrangers.
This group is open to all students regardless of musical experience. Whether you are 18 or 80, there are openings for all voice parts from sopranos to basses. Auditions are not required but students are requested to meet with the director and come prepared to sing a bit.

The Emerald City Women's Chorus is open to women of all ages. There are no auditions. Repertoire includes a variety of choral literature, classical pieces, folk, and popular music. An eight-week summer class designed as a quick review of music theory and sight-singing skills as a way to brush up on basic musicianship. Includes pitch identification, counting techniques, scale structure and simple harmony. The pace will be quick but all levels are welcome.
