Dell Wade, Haydn & Beyond Workshop

Teaching Artist Statement

I teach at Music Center because I have been involved in the music community here for a number of years running the Haydn Workshops and now have the privilege to be a part of the Music Center faculty. I find joy in teaching ensemble performance in an orchestral setting and helping musicians to become better at listening and working in groups.

Teaching Bio

Before joining Music Center, Dell Wade was a composition adjudicator at the Seattle Music Teachers Association. He has worked under Robert Orwen at Kent Meridian High School to learn independent hand movement in conducting, as well as Rainier Miedel of the Seattle Symphony to understand the details and nuances of the musical score.
