How to find the right program?

Not sure which program is right for you? We’re here to help! Speaking with one of our office staff can help narrow down which opportunities might be best for you. You can give us a call at (206) 526 - 8443, email us, or drop by our school office.

Private Lessons (Traditional & Suzuki)"

You’ll start with a 30-minute introductory lesson to meet your teacher and see what lessons are like. Prospective students may take intro lessons with multiple teachers or on multiple instruments to find the right fit.

Music Therapy Sessions & Adaptive Lessons:

New clients will first connect with a certified Music Therapist to discuss the options and see what the best fit for your needs might be. After your complimentary meeting, you’ll schedule a 1-hour assessment (may be split up into two, 30-minute sessions) before enrolling in your program.

Group Classes, Ensembles or Workshops:

Before deciding to register, we can connect you with our teachers to talk about the program and go over questions you might have. Often times we have opportunities for prospective students to join a class for free before deciding to register. Check with the office to join a rehearsal or class!

Review the Calendar & Student Handbook:

When considering a program, take a look at Music Center’s calendar and the student handbook for important schedule and policy information. Questions? Contact the office!

Music Therapy & Adaptive Lessons:

Registration for music therapy begins by filling out our online inquiry form, which will be reviewed by a Music Therapist. You may also schedule a free consultation to speak directly with a Music Therapist about the options available. New clients and students will begin by scheduling a 1-hour assessment, when that is completed you’ll register for sessions for the remainder of the academic year (September - June), for the remainder of the term (Fall, Winter, or Spring) or for a 4 week period. You are not required to enroll during the summer.

Private Lessons:

Registration for private lessons takes place over the phone, or in person at our school office. When you sign up, you’ll register for weekly lessons (same day/time each week) for the remainder of the academic year (September - June). Summer registration (July - August) is more flexible and depends on your teacher’s availability. Students are not required to participate in summer lessons.
